Roof Lantern — Flat Roof Extension
About this project
A made-to-measure white aluminium roof lantern installed over a newly completed single-storey flat-roof extension. The challenge with flat-roof extensions is always the same — they can feel dark and enclosed without overhead glazing. This lantern, fabricated to the exact internal opening dimension, changed the character of the room entirely: what was a functional utility became a bright, open living space that the family now use year-round. Installed in one day with no mess left behind.
