Conservatories
& Roof Lanterns

Design, supply and installation of conservatories, tiled roof conversions, roof lanterns and rooflights across London and Surrey.

Creating Space You
Can Actually Use

A conservatory should be a room you use year-round — not one that is too cold in winter and too hot in summer. With the right specification and a properly installed tiled or glazed roof, that is exactly what you get.

We handle the full project: design consultation, written quotation, supply of all materials, installation, and sign-off. You deal with one team from start to finish.

FAQs

Conservatory Questions Answered

Do I need planning permission for a conservatory?

Most conservatories fall within permitted development rights and do not require planning permission, provided they meet size and proximity criteria. We assess this as part of your free survey and advise accordingly.

Can you convert my existing polycarbonate or glass roof to tiles?

Yes — tiled roof conversions are one of our most popular services. We assess the existing structure, specify the correct roof system, and carry out the full conversion including internal ceiling finish.

How long does a conservatory installation take?

A standard conservatory installation takes 5–10 working days depending on size and complexity. Tiled roof conversions on an existing structure typically take 3–5 days.

What is the difference between a conservatory and an orangery?

An orangery has solid walls with glazed sections and a flat or lantern roof — it feels more like an extension. A conservatory is predominantly glazed. We design and build both.

Do you handle the base and foundations?

We can advise on base requirements and work alongside your groundworker, or recommend a trusted contractor. The base must be completed before we can begin the conservatory structure.
