Bi-fold doors can be configured with 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 panels — folding to the left, right, or both sides depending on your space. We design each system to your exact opening width and your preference for how the panels stack.

Any RAL Colour — Powder-Coated Aluminium
Aluminium bi-folds are powder-coated to any RAL colour — not just the handful of colours offered by most suppliers. Anthracite grey is by far the most popular, but black, white, sage green, and bespoke RAL options are all available and carry the same long-term finish guarantee.

Weather-Tight & Thermally Efficient
Aluminium bi-fold doors have a reputation for draughting and condensation if the system is not correctly specified and fitted. We only supply systems with a proper thermal break — an insulating barrier between the inner and outer aluminium sections — and fit every system with correctly adjusted weather seals on all four sides.

Bi-fold door prices vary significantly depending on the number of panels, width of the opening, colour, and glazing spec. A 3-panel system in a standard colour starts from around £2,500 supplied and fitted. Can I open just one panel without folding the whole system?
Yes. We always include a "traffic door" — one panel that opens independently like a standard door. This means you can walk in and out without needing to fold the entire system, which is ideal for everyday use.
Are aluminium bi-fold doors suitable for large openings?
Yes — aluminium is the correct material for large openings. The structural strength of aluminium allows slim sightlines even at wider spans, and the running gear is engineered for smooth operation even on heavy 6-panel systems.
Do bi-fold doors need planning permission?
Replacing existing doors or creating a new opening of a standard size typically falls under permitted development. We assess the position of your opening as part of the free survey and advise on whether any approval is required.
How secure are aluminium bi-fold doors?
Very secure when correctly specified. Every system we fit includes multi-point locking throughout the full height of the door, and the aluminium frames are structurally robust. All panels lock independently as well as through the main system.
How long does bi-fold door installation take?
A standard bi-fold door installation takes one full day. Larger systems or openings requiring structural lintels may require two days. We always leave the site clean and tidy, with full testing of every panel and lock before sign-off.
